Our search process is bespoke, so we are happy to be involved in either all or part of your assignment. Our process goes through the following stages:
Company Brief: We need to gain a full understanding of your person and job specification, as well as information on the company business and culture, in order for us to talk credibly and confidently about your role. We can attend client meetings if appropriate in order to talk about the research process in more detail.
Target List: We can put together a company target list of suitable, qualified organisations. We always ensure that we have current information on potential target companies in order to understand if they are likely to be appropriate or not. We would normally look at competitors, companies in the same sector, geographical area or a combination of all these.
Candidate Identification: We would then identify the names and job titles of all relevant people working within the target company. Again, we ensure all this information is current and correct.
Candidate Approach: We would normally make a first approach to a prospective candidate during office hours and then arrange to have a more in depth conversation in the evening when people are able to speak more freely. We realise discretion is paramount and so we would respect client confidentiality at all times. If a candidate is qualified and interested in the role then we would forward their CV along with a candidate profile put together from our notes. If a candidate is not interested or appropriate then we will make sure we ask them for a referral.
Interviewing: We can conduct in depth competency based interviews - either face to face or over the telephone. We are also available to set up client interviews and assist with offer negotiations.
Administration: We provide you with a comprehensive search report and candidate profiles which can be tailored to your specific requirements. We'll give you regular updates in whatever format you prefer, email or telephone. We'll flag up any potential issues straight away - so you don't waste any valuable time. We'll also make sure all candidates are properly communicated with throughout the process, whether their application is successful or not, so everyone is left with a positive view of your business.
